Light snow will continue to spread across lower Michigan this evening, with a northeast wind and steady temperatures.
We're still expecting between one and two inches of snow to fall by the time the precipitation ends Monday morning. There is also the possibility of a few pockets of freezing rain along with the light snow, mostly occurring as the snowfall exits the state.
Temperatures will hold steady this evening, and will rise a few degrees overnight as the wind veers to the south and picks up speed. All this will create hazardous driving conditions for the morning commute.
Allow some extra time and drive with caution. Check with WNEM TV5 Wakeup with Catherine Bodak Monday morning for the latest information before you leave home.
