A new report out shows Arizona is a little less healthy than it was a year ago.
The United Health Foundation ranked Arizona 28 in overall health. Last year Arizona was No. 26.
The 2013 report lists the following strengths in Arizona:
Low occupational fatality rate
Low rate of preventable hospitalizations
Low rates of cancer deaths and cardiovascular deaths
Seventeen percent of Arizonans smoke. One in nine people in the state have diabetes. Twenty-six percent of Arizonans are obese and one in four people are normally physically active. The report lists these challenges in Arizona:
