TEMPE, AZ (CBS5) -

All westbound lanes of the Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway in Tempe are open after an investigation into a carjacking ended Friday morning. The suspect who was driving the car jumped a freeway wall and fell eight stories.

The right three lanes of Loop 202 westbound were closed at McClintock, along with the ramp from Loop 101 Pima southbound to Loop 202 Red Mountain westbound, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

Traffic was flowing again on all related roadways.

The restrictions led to delays on Loop 202 westbound in Tempe and Mesa. Also, drivers were delayed in both directions of Loop 101 approaching the transitions ramps to Loop 202.

The restrictions lasted through all of the morning commute.
