SAGINAW COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Two girls were unharmed after being involved in a rollover accident in Saginaw County.

The accident happened on Portsmouth Road just north of Holland Road or M-46 around 7 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Police said the driver of the vehicle may have been traveling too fast for the slick road conditions. A fresh layer of snow coated already slick roads from this weekend's winter weather blast.

Passers-by were able to break the back window of the vehicle and pulled the two girls to safety.

The girls were on their way to Reese High School, where they are students. The girls were uninjured.
