Clare County's "Cops & Doughnuts" shop issued the following comical news release for those who have made New Year's resolutions for 2014:

Created specifically for those choosing to participate in the ritual that is "New Year's Resolutions", Cops and Doughnuts will accommodate their participating customers. Starting January 1 and running through January 17, 2014 Cops and Doughnuts will offer a more healthy version of their doughnuts and pastries.

Cops and Doughnuts have made room in their coolers and are preparing to load them up with the many flavors Slimfast has to offer. The drink will be sold at a bargain so anyone can afford to reach his or her goals.

The target audience of the "New Year's Resolution" Campaign are:

  • Women.
  • Groups of women.
  • Spineless husbands of those women.
  • Non-Victoria Secret Models (though they are welcome).
  • Anyone under 5'7" and over 120 pounds.
  • Anyone who is "fat" based on what media says.
  • Anyone who is single.
  • Those who drive instead of walk to the mailbox.
  • Those who just joined Weightwatchers, Curves or a gym.

The recipes that create the healthy new menu at Cops and Doughnuts are Slim fast as mentioned before, a celery doughnut, carrot doughnut and a doughnut salad. Each meeting the requirements that any dieter would ask for, all options are a great "after-work-out-snack". The options also use real, fresh vegetables, not steamed or cooked allowing them to keep their maximum amount of nutrients.
