TV5 has received word of an accident on the southbound lanes of I-75 near mile marker 138 involving a snow plow truck.
As a result of the crash, two lanes of the highway were shut down, but those lanes have since reopened.
The accident happened around 9 a.m. Tuesday morning. The driver of the other vehicle is believed to have sustained a broken leg as a result of the crash.
The accident involved an MDOT snow plow and a pick-up truck. The pick-up truck's front end sustained extensive damage.
The area of the crash is near the town of Birch Run.
Also, the Grand Rapids Press reports a semi collided Tuesday morning with a plow truck, leaving the semi driver pinned inside the cab on westbound Interstate 96 near the Ottawa County community of Coopersville, about 15 miles northwest of Grand Rapids.
The newspaper reports the semi driver was injured.
