FLINT, Mich. (AP) -

A man told police he was shot while shoveling snow in Flint.

The Flint Journal reports the man was shoveling around 4:30 p.m. Sunday when he was wounded in the thigh and a finger.

He told police he didn't know who shot him. He was taken to a hospital for treatment and was listed in good condition.

Extreme cold followed a major weekend storm that dumped more than a foot of snow in some areas, including more than 17 inches in Flint.
