TV5 is launching a new segment called "Wake-Up Theater", where we get you ready for the movies coming out this weekend.
And it will be a battle at the box office this weekend with three blockbusters hitting the big screen.
The first is the Legend of Hercules.
The half-man, half god returns to the big screen. But this one is a little different. Instead of the 12 Labors of Myth, this Hercules appears to follow the lead of Spartacus and Ben Hurr, fighting to take back his rightful kingdom.
Kellen Lutz of Twilight fame stars in as the son of Zeus.
But not much love for this one though. One critic calls it a quote "pure popcorn" flick, giving it a score of 5 out of 10. The Legend of Hercules is rated PG-13.
The second big one hitting theaters this weekend is Lone Survivor.
It's based on the New York Time's best seller of the same name. It's a true story of the ill-fated operation of a Navy Seal platoon in Afghanistan back in 2005.
Mark Wahlberg stars in the film, along with Friday Night Lights alum Taylor Kitsch.
Lone Survivor appears to be a hit with some calling it the best war movie since Saving Private Ryan.
Rotten Tomatoes gives it a 71-percent fresh rating. Scott Bowles of USA Today calls Lone Survivor, "nothing short of miraculous."
The Associated Press says the action scenes feel as realistic as any we've seen on the screen in some time.
Lone Survivor is rated R
The third movie is called Her.
Joaquin Phoenix returns to the fold and falls in love with his computer's highly advanced operating system, which is voiced by Scarlett Johannson.
This movie is making a splash in time for the award season and many want Johannson to be nominated for an Academy Award for best supporting actress, despite never appearing on screen.
It's also up for a Golden Globe for best picture. It also has a 91-percent fresh rating online.
