EB I-69 in Flint back open

FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

TV5 has received word that the eastbound lanes of I-69 were closed at Dort Highway in the city of Flint Thursday morning but the highway has since reopened.

The closure was in effect due to an accident in the area. The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. Thursday morning.

Not much is known about the crash, including the number of vehicles involved or if any injuries were sustained as a result of the accident.

In Bay City, TV5 has received word that the eastbound lanes of Thomas Street were shutdown at Wenona Street due to an accident but that area has also reopened to traffic.

That crash happened around 7:40 a.m. Thursday morning. No details on injuries or the number of vehicles involved.
