The non-profit organization's mission is to encourage, educate and enhance the relationship between fathers and their children.
The organization's vision is to reduce fatherlessness and its harmful impact on children through a variety of venues and activities including mentoring support, seminars, workshops and motivational address.
The annual recognition program honors up to eight outstanding Great Lakes Bay Region fathers who clearly and significantly demonstrate those traits and characteristics associated with effective and responsible fatherhood.
Over the past three years, 24 fathers from the Tri-City area have been formally recognized.
