AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- More than 125 companies unboxed new technology devices and services for work, home and play during ShowStoppers @ CES 2014 – and the industry leaders, startups and innovators that exhibited at the press event are tracking record-setting print, web, TV, radio and social media coverage.

More than 1,400 journalists, analysts, venture capitalists and investors attended the 10th annual edition of ShowStoppers @ CES, which took place 7 Jan. 2014 in Las Vegas.

"We're tracking hundreds of news articles published in just the two weeks since the press event," said Steve Leon, partner, ShowStoppers. "That pace of coverage, that volume, is incredible. Every day brings more. The exhibitors worked hard for this success – and they lit up the radar screens for journalists."

ShowStoppers @ CES 2014 featured news and new products from interior design to 3D printing, smartphone-controlled kitchen appliances and LED lighting systems, electric bikes, three-wheeled cars that achieve 84MPG, devices that turn the iPhone into thermal imaging systems that see into walls, new tablets and desktop computers, robots, 360-degree cameras, Android-powered PCs, inflatable solar lighting, biometrics that control access to handguns, wearable devices, smart glasses, and more.

Exhibiting companies ranged from startups such as Canopy, Contatta, Elio Motors, Izzi Gadgets, Polar and Sen.se, to innovators such as FLIR, Geonaute, Xi3 and 3Doodler, to global industry brands Blackberry, Brother, Domino's Pizza, E-Ink, Epson, Ford, Fujitsu, General Motors, Gracenote, Honeywell, HP and Lenovo, among many.
