Essexville Police were called to an address on Pine Street on Saturday morning after a neighbor called to say they'd found a woman's body.
When police arrived, they found 46-year-old Michelle Anuszkiewicz lying in the snow of her driveway. Authorities said in a news release on Tuesday that there were not witnesses to say how long she'd been laying at that spot, but first responders determined that she'd been deceased for some time.
Police stated that Anuszkiewicz may have been in the snow most of the night with temperatures hitting single digits. Investigators said they found no signs of a struggle or foul play.
An autopsy was performed at McLaren Bay Regional hospital and investigators are waiting on toxicology results before a cause of death can be determined.
