FLORENCE, AZ (CBS5) -

A 34-year-old Marana woman was arrested on suspicion of having sex with a 15-year-old San Tan Valley boy.

Keri Gonzalez was booked into the Pinal County Jail on charges of sexual misconduct with a minor and providing false information to a peace officer after a sequence of events that led to her arrest Jan. 25.

The boy's mother called the Pinal County Sheriff's Office two days after she said she was awakened about 2 a.m. Jan. 21 by "knocking sounds by the stairs and on the wall," according to a PCSO report.

The mother said she found her son's door locked, and when he opened it she saw a naked woman crouching on the floor between the bed and wall.

The mother said told deputies she yelled and the woman quickly dressed and jumped out a the second-story bedroom window and was seen limping down the street, according to the report.

About 30 minutes later, the mother said there was a knock and Gonzalez, a family friend, was standing at the front door and said she had broken her ankle. She left shortly after, according to the report.

The mother told deputies she had warned Gonzalez in the past to stay away from her son after she caught her flirting with him.

The boy told deputies Gonzalez came over after his mother had fallen asleep and brought alcohol. He said they drank and had sex twice that evening before they were caught by his mother, according to the report.

The boy confirmed Gonzalez had jumped out of the window.

Deputies found and interviewed Gonzalez on Jan. 25. She was wearing a cast on her ankle and confirmed the accounts given by the boy and mother, but provided a deputy with an incorrect address for her residence, according to the report.

"The overwhelming majority of children who are sexually abused are abused by someone they know and trust," Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu said. "Most people think of males committing sex crimes against females, but this case is just as serious as it deals with an adult female committing the sex crime against a juvenile male"
