Babies arrive when they want, and apparently you can't always tell how many are coming. A Jayess mom learned this firsthand as she now has four new hearts to love.
Kim Fugate was shocked from the moment she found out she was expecting. First she was told triplets were on the way, but on delivery day a *fourth* pair of fingers and toes appeared.
Last Saturday, the 42 year old mom welcomed her new bundles of joy. Her doctor says ultrasounds only showed three girls, so he was just as surprised when he discovered the fourth baby.
Not only is this spontaneous quadruplets birth rare, the sisters are identical, and that makes it even more unique.
"They said more feet, that's all I heard," said Fugate. "And I said nooo. It was an instant shock but I'm proud of her.
The Fugate baby girls names are Kristen Sue, Kenleigh Rosa, Kayleigh Pearl, and Kelsey Roxanne. They're expected to come home early May. Their 10 year old big sister says she can't wait until their get there.
The Fugates say, with four new little ones, they need all things baby. If you'd like to help them out, follow this link.
