For the first time since 1997, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are changing their helmet and logo.

Super fans like Roman Diaz say they can't wait.

"I mean, the last time we changed uniforms, we started winning and ended up being super bowl champs, so, can't be bad? Can't be bad," said Diaz.

Diaz, who dresses up in costume for games as Captain Bones says he's been a die-hard fan for years.

"I found my home, I found my beloved team," said Diaz. "And I've been dressing in costumes ever since about 1986. And I still have all the costumes. "

According to the Buccaneer's web site, Warren Sapp, the former Buccaneer who was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2013, will show off the new gear during a segment on the NFL Network's Total Access show on Thursday.

The show airs at 8:00 p.m.
