SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -

State police have announced that the Michigan public sex offender registry will have a new look starting Monday.

The level of detail about the offenders will remain the same but the website is getting a change up.

Now users will be able to search by city, zip code, county and offender name. Users can even sign up to receive email notifications when an offender moves in near your address.

You can even create a radius search of 2 miles from your home.

Currently the website has nearly 38,000 registered offenders. The site is run by the Michigan State Police.
