Washington, D.C. -

The U.S. Justice Department has announced they will not file criminal charges against the Saginaw police officers who shot and killed Milton Hall.

Hall, who was homeless at the time, was shot eleven times during a confrontation with officers in July of 2012.

The incident led to investigations within Saginaw County and the federal government.

Today federal investigators say they do not have "sufficient evidence of willful misconduct" by those officers.

The investigation was a joint effort by the department's Civil Rights Division, The U.S. Attorney's office and the F.B.I..
