BAY COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

The U.S. Coast Guard was forced to make a life-saving rescue on the Saginaw Bay near Bay City Saturday night after two men fell through the ice.

The two men were riding snowmobiles when they fell through, about a mile offshore Saturday night.

A Coast Guard rescue boat arrived on the scene around 9:45 p.m. The men were able to get back on the ice but both suffered from hypothermia.

Rescuers haven't reveal much about the victims, only that they are a 19-year-old and a 45-year-old.

There's no word on their condition.
