Two men jailed, charged in Midland County robbery

MIDLAND COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Two Coleman residents are in custody suspected in a Midland County home invasion on Friday.

Police received a call in reference to a breaking and entering in progress. When officers arrived on the scene, they were informed that a Polaris Ranger and archery equipment had been stolen from the residence.

Officers than began pursuit of the suspects were able to track down one of the men, a 22-year-old Coleman resident.

He was taken into custody and remains in the Midland County Jail.

On Saturday, police were able to track down the second suspect, a 17-year-old Coleman teen. He is also lodged in the Midland County Jail.

Police recovered the items, which include a Polaris Ranger, archery equipment, a John Deere Gator and a Toro snow blower.

Both men are being charged with two counts of home invasion and larceny from a building.
