Charges have been dropped against a 60-year-old San Diego woman who escaped from a Michigan prison.
Judy Lynn Hayman escaped from an Ypsilanti prison in 1977 after serving eight months of an 18-to-24-month sentence for stealing clothes from a Detroit store.
Hayman was arrested February 4th after Michigan authorities discovered she was living in San Diego.
She was released this Friday after her attorney presented documents revealing she had surrendered in 1982.
A judge sentenced her to time already served.
