LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Honda is recalling nearly 900,000 minivans for a defect that could cause the cars to catch fire.
The problem is the fuel pump strainer cover. It could deteriorate allowing fuel to leak out.
The recall includes some Honda Odysseys made from 2005 through 2010. Honda is providing customers with a temporary repair, but said replacement parts won't be available until this summer.
Honda told the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that the company isn't aware of any fires or injuries from this issue.
