Chesterfield students caught on camera viciously beating each other are being encouraged to upload the videos to the web.
An Instagram account asks students to send in their fight videos. In fact, NBC12's tip to Chesterfield police prompted an investigation.
The account's creator remains unknown, but new videos keep getting posted and the number viewing them continues to grow.
One video is shot in the hall of what appears to be a school. Two guys fight while a crowd cheers them on. Those who've commented on the video claim it was shot at Matoaca Middle School.
While fight videos are nothing new, the Instagram account solicits followers to submit high-quality clips of middle and high school brawls.
The name of the account is "CCPSfights" and multiple posts claim to have been filmed at or near a Chesterfield school.
Another video posted to the account claims to have been shot outside of Manchester High School though it's unclear which school, if any, it was actually filmed at.
A Chesterfield County School's spokesman says, the school division is aware of the account. Meanwhile, parents are shocked by the videos.
"You go to school for education and to have kids fighting like that," said parent Matthew Bennett. "That's ridiculous."
The videos even seem to come from beyond the Chesterfield County border. According to the anonymous account manager, one video is from Caroline High.
Another video of a student being smashed through a window claims to have been shot inside a Richmond Public School.
Still, no video's location has been confirmed by any school system or police.
