Two Michigan State Police troopers are credited with saving a man from a burning house.
The troopers were on a routine patrol Thursday when they overheard radio traffic about a man being trapped inside a burning house. When they arrived at the home in the 1800 block of Woodlin Drive in Flint they saw the roof was on fire, and the house was filled with smoke.
The troopers also say they heard a man shouting, so they went inside. There they found the man laying on the floor. They were able to pull him out, and he was conscious and alert when being sent to the hospital.
Right now it's not clear how that fire started.
