The Flint police department along with other law enforcement agencies executed a warrant sweep Wednesday morning.
More than one hundred warrant addresses were checked and covered everything from parole violations to much more serious crimes.
The department says that this warrant sweep won't be the only one scheduled this year. They have many more coming and they say they can happen morning, noon or night.
Flint PD Captain Colin Birney addressed how many outstanding warrants there were in the city.
"For the city alone, there are 23,000 outstanding warrants and there have been several programs introduced to try and take care of that number. This was an attempt for some of the more violent ones off the street," says Birney.
Birney also says as the weather starts to improve his department starts getting more calls. He says as the weather gets warmer the department gets busier.
Police say70 homes were hit during the sweep. 11 arrests were made concerning 18 warrants.
