A large power outage left nearly 3,550 customers in the dark Thursday but hard-working Consumers Energy crews have restored power to all of those affected.
The outages were reported in Bay and Midland counties.
One pocket of outages stretched from U.S. 10 north to Mills Township. That pocket stretched west to Stark Road and east to Waldo Road. About 1,700 customers were affected in that pocket.
We've received word that the Midland Mall was affected by this pocket of outages.
Another pocket of outages had nearly a thousand customers without electricity. That pockets extended from Midland County in Bay County. The pocket ran north to Parish Road and extended south to Townline 14 road.
There were also two small outages in Bay County, just north of Frankenlust Township. One was near U.S. 10 at Mackinaw Road. The other pocket was near the Bay Valley Golf Club.
Be careful when approaching traffic signals in areas affected by the outages. Treat those intersections as four-way stops.
WNEM will continue to update this story and will provide updates as new information is learned.
