It's been ten days since anyone has seen a 60-year-old Grand Blanc Township man who suffers from a mental illness, but his family says this has never happened before.
Now the family is worried that without his medication he could be lost and confused.
Minutes are beginning to feel like hours for Tim Simpson. It's been 10 days since anyone has seen his 60-year-old father James.
"Either he walked somewhere, got in the car with someone or he got in a bus, we are not exactly sure," says Simpson.
James Simpson takes medication for mental illness and Tim worries that without it, his dad may be feeling confused and frightened. He's never been missing like this before.
Tim says he's been going to local townships and cities putting up flyers, and he was in downtown Flint Monday because he says that's the last time anyone saw his dad.
Tim says his dad called for a ride and when his sister went to pick him up on Friday, March 21 in downtown Flint, he was nowhere to be found.
Tim has been going in every business he can and has filed a missing person's report with the Grand Blanc Township Police. He's hoping someone, somewhere will help him find his father.
"I am still very confident that my father will be found in one state or another or one train of thought. I just hope he's okay and if he isn't, we will deal with it the best way we can," says Tim.
Simpson is 6 feet tall and about 240 pounds. If anyone has seen him or has any information about his whereabouts, please call 911.
