Music lineup announced for 2014 KCQ Country Music Festival

SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -

The music lineup for this year's WKCQ Country Music festival has been announced.

WKCQ's Jim Kramer and Barb Sheltraw made the announcement on the air Thursday morning.

Headliner Montgomery Gentry will take the stage at Ojibway Island on Saturday, June 21.

Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry have been in country music since 1999 and they have since recorded five No. 1 songs.

Joining the duo on stage will be Frankie Ballard, who recorded a single that went No. 1 on the charts during the month of March.

Ballard is also a Michigan native.

The WKCQ morning crew also announced that local band Dani Vitany and Ten Hands Tall will be the opening act at this year's show. Tickets for reserved seats go on sale Friday, April 4.

This is the 23rd year for the WKCQ Country Music Festival.
