BURTON, MI (WNEM) -

Hazmat crews and police were called out to a Goodwill store after a mobile meth lab was discovered.

It happened at around 7:15 this morning at the Goodwill store in the 2100 block of Center Road in Burton.

Investigators were called after people noticed a man was slumped over the wheel of his truck.  When police arrived, the man was driving off. But officers stopped him in the front entrance of the Security Federal Credit Union, also on Center.

That's when officers say they smelled meth, and called for the Flint Area Narcotics Group.  Investigators say the 33-year-old Davison man admitted he was making meth, and was taken into custody.

The incident is still under investigation. The credit union's entrance was closed for a few hours while crews cleared the scene.
