HURON COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Two Huron County residents are now facing felony charges after being accused of trafficking heroin.

The charges stem from an investigation by the Huron County sheriff's office.

The suspects are 29-year-old Angela Palmer and 22-year-old Brad Labombard, both of Elkton.

Police say they arrested the pair Wednesday after finding five grams of heroin in their car. Scales, a white powdery substance and syringes were seized from the suspects' apartment.

Two children with the suspects were turned over to relatives.
