Tucson, AZ -

The Arizona Wildcats hit the road for Easter weekend as they travel to Los Angeles for a Pac-12 series against the USC Trojans.

UA took the series from UCLA for the first time since 2005. That was also the last time UA won the series against both USC and UCLA in same season.

Arizona leads the Pac-12 with a .299 batting average. The Wildcats have hit .300 or better in 11-straight seasons, the longest streak in the nation.

Trent Gilbert, Scott Kingery and Zach Gibbons are all tied for the conference lead with 53 hits.

Gibbons has a six-game hit streak and is batting .417 over the last 16 games. Kingery leads Arizona with a .390 batting average and leads the Pac-12 with 15 stolen bases. Gilbert has started 115-consecutive games and has 193 career base hits.

James Farris starts on Friday night for the Wildcats. He leads the Pac-12 with 65 strikeouts.

Saturday hurler Cody Hamlin's 2.14 ERA ranks ninth-best in the Pac-12. He has pitched into the eighth inning in six-straight starts.

Closer Bobby Dalbec has earned two wins and a save in his last three appearances.
