State police investigating fatal motorcycle crash

BAY COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

The victim of a deadly motorcycle accident that shut down parts of a busy road for hours yesterday has been identified.

Brian Kissel, 31, was riding his motorcycle in Bay County where US-10 and M-25 merge.

Kissel was traveling at a high speed when he took the ramp onto eastbound US-10. He then lost control due to high speeds and crashed into a guardrail on M-25 causing his death, Michigan State Police said.

The crash occurred at 3:55 p.m. on April 18 and Kissel was pronounced dead at the scene.

The state police were assisted by the Monitor Township Fire Department, Bay County Sheriff's Department, Bay City Department of Public Safety and McLaren/Bay EMS.
