The search is on for the gunman in a deadly shooting that happened overnight in Saginaw.

Police said they responded to a call around 10 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of S. Ninth Street in Saginaw.

When they arrived, police said they found 20-year-old Terrance Holiday injured from an apparent gunshot wound.

He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.

The incident happened on Ninth and Burt, where neighbors said the partying and fighting were frequent occurrences.

"I heard that they got to fighting in the basement and they all came out. And that's when the shooting started," said Jesse Rowe.

Neighbors said police need to intervene before the homicide rate increases even more.

"It should be something did about all of those boys hanging around that house. That's what should be did about it," said David Fenn.

Neighbors remain dismayed about the death.

"Need to be some kind of neighborhood watch or something," Fenn said.

This is the fourth homicide in Saginaw this year.

Police are asking that anyone with information on the shooting call Crime Stoppers. You can leave an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-422-JAIL.
