(WMC) - After what had to have been a exciting long weekend in Memphis, the royals are heading out of town. They are leaving behind some businesses that loved the royal attention.

The Jimmy Church Band provided the music.

"You forgot about the royalty.  You were just looking at people having fun. It was amazing," said Jimmy Church.

Church describes the royals as down to earth and fun-loving.

"Before the night was over, he came up on stage and started singing with me and was dancing."

Church sang six encores and says they liked soul songs like Soul Man and Shout.

Laura Jackson of Flour Garden provided wedding cakes good enough for royals to devour.

"I think it was just an honor that they got to come to Memphis," said Jackson.

The wedding cake: a six-tier carrot cake, butter cream icing with a peacock and peahen on top, feathers draping down the cake.

The groom's fox hunting cake was all the talk.

"That is not a tradition in the U. K.  It's a very southern tradition in the United States. She wanted to bring that southern flare to the wedding."

Garden District owner Greg Campbell found thousands of flowers from all over the world. Blue flowers are hard to come by.

"Navy was a color selected by Lizzy. The linens fell in place after that," said Campbell.

Campbell's team built props and had only a half-hour to put up the arch for the alter.

"The arch they married under, because it got a little warm during the day, we had to put it up about 4:15."

All in all, it seemed to be a royal success.

"It definitely was an honor to be involved," added Campbell.
