Crash injures two teens in Freeland

FREELAND, MI (WNEM) -

Two teens were injured Monday morning after their cars crashed into each other in Freeland.

The incident happened around 7:30 a.m. in a subdivision near the corner of Scott Road and Summer Ridge Court in Freeland.

Police say one of the cars was headed northbound on Summer Ridge, turning onto Scott, while the other was headed west on Scott. That's when the vehicles collided.

Both drivers, a man and a woman, suffered only minor injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
