Deputies responded to a report of a vehicle in Crooked Lake in Garfield Township about 7 a.m. Friday.

A car got stuck on an incline in a roadway in the area of Crooked Lake and Cook.

There was a driver and two minor occupants in the tan Ford vehicle.

The driver, Tanya Culver, 30, of Lake, tried to get out and push the vehicle, but one of the children accidentally put the car in reverse. The vehicle rolled over Culver and rolled into the lake.

They were able to remove the children safely. The driver received injuries to her arm and multiple lacerations on her body. Culver was taken to Mid-Michigan Health Center in Midland for treatment.

The vehicle was removed from the lake.

The Sheriff Department was assisted by the Garfield Township Fire Department and Mobile Medical Ambulance Service.
