SVSU WR and Tawas native Jeff Janis grew up cheering for the Detroit Lions. Now he will play for one of their division rivals.
Janis was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the 7th round of the NFL Draft with pick #236 overall.
Janis is a two-time All-American, who finished with over 4000 receiving yards and 46 touchdowns in his career at SVSU. He also led the NCAA Division II in receiving as a Junior.
This offseason, Janis was invited to the Senior Bowl, and then the NFL Combine, where he blew scouts away with his measurables.
