ISABELLA COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

After her vehicle was stuck on an incline, a woman attempting to push her car to safety was accidentally run over by the vehicle Friday morning.

Tanya Culver's vehicle then rolled into a nearby lake with her two children inside.

The incident happened around 7 a.m. Friday morning near the intersection of Crooked Lake and Cook roads in Isabella County's Garfield Township.

Culver, 30, was attempting to push the vehicle from behind when one of the children accidentally put the car in reverse. The vehicle then rolled over Culver and into a lake.

The children were removed safely from the vehicle. Culver sustained injuries to her arm and multiple lacerations on her body. She is expected to be okay.

The vehicle has been removed from the lake.
