FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

A 15-year-old girl said she was abducted on her way to school in Mt. Morris Monday, according to Flint city's spokesperson Jason Lorenz.

The girl said she was taken to a Flint home on the 1800 block of Bennett, where she was held hostage for three days and repeatedly sexually assaulted.

"It's just messed up the way things are these days," said Dave Birmingham, resident in the neighborhood.

Police said they are investigating a teenager's claims she was abducted, sexually assaulted and held hostage for three days at a home on Flint's east side.

The girl said she was walking to school Monday morning when a man in a black Ford pulled up next to her.

She said a 27-year old Flint resident forced her into the car and took her to the Flint home. She said she was able to escape Wednesday.

"Oh yeah, it's very scary, especially living around here," said Courtney Louive, Flint resident.

The 27-year-old Flint man is in city lockup as the investigation continues.

Police said the victim is OK.

Lorenz said whether this is a case of abduction or not, it is illegal if the 27-year-old had sex with the minor.
