Residents told to boil their water

Posted: Updated:
TUSCOLA COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Residents in the Tuscola County village of Millington are being told to boil their water.

Construction is underway on a water tower, prompting the boil water advisory.  The village president is asking residents to boil water used for drinking or cooking for at least 1 minute before use.

Water is safe for bathing only.

This notice is in effect until Saturday, June 14.  The village will notify residents when the water tests are clear to return to normal use.

If you have any questions, you're asked to call the village office at 989-871-2702.
