Coast Guard crews from the U.S. and Canada worked together to rescue two women who were adrift in a raft on southern Lake Huron.
The U.S. Coast Guard says it was asked Sunday evening to assist in locating the women, who were reportedly pushed from land by winds and couldn't get back. A rescue boat crew from the Coast Guard Station in Port Huron, Michigan, located them near Sarnia, Ontario.
A helicopter from Air Station Detroit also was launched to assist in the search about 70 miles east of Flint. Names of the women weren't released.
