PHOENIX (CBS5) -

The University of Arizona Wildcat track and field program had another strong day at the 2014 USA Track and Field Outdoor Championships on Saturday in Sacramento, Calif. The meet, which lasts from June 25-29, is being held at Sacramento State's Hornet Stadium. Up north in Moncton, Canada, Julie Labonté was victorious once again.

Labonté, a former Wildcat NCAA Champion, won her fourth-straight title in the women's discus competition on Saturday morning in Moncton. Labonté's toss of 170-5 (51.94m) was good for a first-place finish. She has swept the shot put and discus competitions at the Canadian Championships (including Olympic Trials) for four-straight years.

Nick Ross, a former NCAA Champion for the Wildcats, tied for second place in the men's high jump competition. He cleared 7-5.75 (2.28m) on his second try to earn that final position. He failed to clear 7-7 (2.31m), which would have tied his lifetime personal best, clearing it in the 2014 indoor season.

In the women's 400-meter hurdles, former Wildcat All-American Georganne Moline finished in second place overall in the semifinal round with a time of 55.51. She qualified for Sunday's final at 1:05 p.m. MST. Junior-to-be Nnenya Hailey finished in 11th place overall, clocking a time of 57.73, only the op eight runners advanced.

Taylor Bush, an alumnus of the University of Arizona and an All-American, finished in 14th place overall in the women's hammer throw competition with a toss of 199-5 (60.78m). Bush fouled on her first two attempts but managed to get a fair mark on her last try.
