DALLAS, July 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Generational Equity, a leading mergers and acquisitions advisor for privately-held, middle-market businesses, is pleased to announce the acquisition of its client, Advanced Testing and Engineering Inc. (ATE), and Commercial Aging Services, LLC (CAS), headquartered in Taylor, Michigan, by SGS Group, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. The acquisition closed on May 30, 2014.
ATE is a leading independent fatigue durability testing laboratory, specializing in exhaust, suspension and emissions systems. It serves the automotive, heavy truck and motorcycle markets. Founded in 2001 and privately owned, ATE employs 20 and generated 2013 revenues in excess of USD 5.3 million.
CAS was formed in 2008 with the purpose of commercializing C-FOCAS© technology. The patented system is a gasoline-fueled burner with an integrated, computerized control system. The system is capable of running gasoline, natural gas, or propane fuel and can accurately inject oil or metered poison to stimulate engine oil consumption.
