A 32-year-old woman has plead guilty in connection to the shooting death of Floyd Dennis.
Oanh Kieu Bass plead guilty to the charges of second degree murder and felony firearm. Her bond was revoked upon entrance of the plea.
Dennis was found dead in his Clare County home in January. He was a Harrison school board member and bus driver.
"The investigation done by the law enforcement agencies involved allowed us to ensure that the defendant is held accountable for her actions and that the family sees that justice is done. This is a very good resolution," Prosecutor Michelle Ambrozaitis said.
Clare County Sheriff John Wilson said he wishes the best for the victim's family as they move forward.
Bass' sentencing date will be scheduled at a later time.
