1926 Star Island Mansion Sells for Nearly $19 Million
Miami Beach, FL / ACCESSWIRE / July 17, 2014 / Eric Jacobs, COO of Clear Title Group, announced that his firm just closed on the 11,000-square-foot home at 31 Star Island, selling for nearly $19 million.
The 10-bedroom, eight-bathroom mansion built back in 1926 was purchased in 1998 for about $4.2 million and now boasts new amenities, including a bar, boat docks, a gym, movie theater and tennis court.
“This latest transaction seems to indicate that the demand for residential real estate continues to rise, especially when it comes to homes in the high-end, luxury category,” said Jacobs.
Miami Beach’s Clear Title Group is the premiere title agency in South Florida involved in most of the big deals in South Florida. The firm recently made history in local real estate for closing on the $12 million sale of the Setai residence #3509 that set the record for highest price paid per square foot at $4,760. The firm also closed on the $45.4 million deal by Sam Herzberg in the Design District to New York’s Thor Equities. And Clear Title Group also represented Chad Carroll, Bravo TV’s host of “Million-Dollar Listings Miami” in the sale of his condo at the Marquis Residence and purchase of a new condo one floor higher for $1.2 million.
