A family is distraught after their dog was snatched up by what they think was a pack of wild dogs.
The incident happened Thursday morning in southern Saginaw County and the mother tells TV5 that she now fears for her two-year-old daughter.
Cynthia Bell says she and her two-year-old daughter took their two Pomeranians outside when one of the dogs started barking.Bell says three scruffy looking dogs came from the edge of her property and snatched her beloved pup "Bell-Bell", letting their other dog get away. Bell fears that these are part of the same pack of wild dogs the city has been hunting in recent weeks.
For now, the family is left searching. "My daughter has been crying all day trying to find her," says Bell.
Bell hopes the city can find these dogs before something worse happens. Bell says she still has hope that her dog is still out there and she vows to keep searching.
Saginaw County Sheriff Bill Federspiel has asked that anyone who sees wild dogs, call 911.
