Henrico girl bit by rabid fox

Henrico Police are asking residents to be on the lookout after a rabid fox bit a girl on Sunday.

The fox was spotted in the 3500 block of Darbytown Road. A family member of the girl shot the fox - the remains were sent to the State Lab and tested positive for rabies.

A dog that may have been exposed to the fox has been quarantined.
