Community helps Longview boy whose medical supplies were stolen

Posted: Updated:

FOX 12 viewers came through to help a boy whose medical supplies were stolen off his doorstep.

Noah Anderson, 3, was born with a hole in his diaphragm and has to eat through stomach tubes.

His parents were expecting a shipment of a month's supply of formula and tubes delivered to their home, but someone stole the package right off their front porch.

On Tuesday several people dropped off boxes of formula and supplies for the family. The donations are enough to get Noah through more than a month.

Online giant Amazon even contacted FOX 12 to say they have the formula and supplies Noah needs in stock and will send some to the family free of charge.

Noah's mom expressed her gratitude at all of the help from the community. "I'm just overwhelmed by the response that I've gotten...yeah, it's been amazing," said Jaelyn Anderson. "I had one person donate all the cans of formula and then I had a couple people who donated all the bags, so, yeah, it's been pretty overwhelming."
