Five teens arrested for throwing eggs at cars on highway

CLARE COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

The Clare County Dispatch received a couple calls from motorists on US-127 at the Bailey Road overpass for subjects throwing objects over the overpass at vehicles.

Deputies arrived to the scene about 2 a.m. on Thursday. Upon arrival they located the suspected vehicle along with five adult teenagers.

As a result of the investigation all five suspects were arrested and lodged at the Clare County Jail for throwing objects at vehicles. The suspects were found to be throwing eggs at the vehicles.

Two of them were also arrested for possession of marijuana.

Sheriff Joe Wilson said this crime is serious and could cause potential injury to traveling motorists. He said the crime won't be tolerated no matter what object is thrown.

The following suspects were arraigned on throwing objects at vehicles: Derrick Davis, 18, Justin Bohr, 19, and Sidney Lopez, 18. All three of the suspects are from Harrison.

The following suspects were arraigned on throwing objects at vehicles and possession of marijuana: James Maran, 18, and Devon Wilson, 18. Both of them are from Harrison.
