LAKE OSWEGO, OR (KPTV) -

A former Lake Oswego cheerleader accused of sex trafficking an underage former classmate was arrested in San Francisco after removing her ankle monitoring device last month.

Julia Haner, 19, was arrested Monday by San Francisco police officers. She is facing charges in California of sex trafficking and possession of a concealed weapon.

A federal hold has been placed on her in connection with pending federal charges in Oregon.

Haner was indicted by a federal grand jury in Oregon in April on sex trafficking charges.

Haner, who pleaded not guilty in April, was allowed to live at home while wearing an ankle monitoring device as the legal proceedings unfolded.

The FBI reported she had removed the device in late June and disappeared.

Court documents stated Haner worked with her alleged pimp, Konrod Mason, 30, to recruit a 17-year-old girl to work as a prostitute in February.

A U.S. District Court memorandum said Haner used to ride the bus to Lake Oswego High School with the girl and later connected with her through Facebook.

After the girl was taken into custody and returned to her family following a law enforcement sting operation, court documents state Haner tried recruiting a new 20-year-old woman she knew through her cheerleading connections to work with them as a prostitute.

Haner was a student at Lake Oswego High School in 2011-2012 and attended one class a day in 2012-2013, according to administrators. She was a cheerleader for the school and also participated on a completive cheer team outside of school.

The FBI did not release any details about what led to her arrest in San Francisco.
