With the resumption of the Ontario Hockey League's trading period, the Saginaw Spirit have completed a deal with the Eastern Conference's Ottawa 67's. The Spirit have moved third year forward Jeremiah Addison to the Canadian capital in exchange for a package of one player and draft picks. The Spirit receive forward Connor Brown from the 67's along with a 3rd round pick (Barrie), and a 4th round pick (Windsor), with both picks in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection.
Addison leaves the Spirit after two seasons in Saginaw following his selection in the first round of the 2012 OHL Priority Selection. This past season, Addison appeared in 61 games for the Spirit recording seven goals while adding 10 assists. Meantime Brown, joins the Spirit from Ottawa following a 12 goal season for the 67's in 2013-14. The 1995 year, Georgetown, ON native was the 67's 9th round pick, 179th overall in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection.
